The New York Mills Union Free School District's Kindergarten registration for 2011-2012 will take place Monday January 24th through Friday January 28th, 2011.  The registration will take place at the elementary school from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.  The child need not be present for registration.

To be eligible for kindergarten in New York Mills, a child must be five years of age by December 1, 2011.  Birth certificates, proof of immunications and proof of residency (gas and electric, phone bill etc.) must be submitted prior to the start of the school year in September.

Two doses of MMR, three doses of polio and diptheria, three doses of Hepatitis B vaccine and one dose of varicella are required.  Kindergarten screening for all registered students will take place in May.  A Kindergarten Orientation is scheduled for Wednesday June 15, 2011 at 6:00 pm.
