§ 162-29. Powers and
authority of inspectors.
The
Superintendent and his employees may enter upon private lands for the purpose
of inspection, observation, measurement, sampling and testing in accordance
with the provisions of these rules and regulations. The Superintendent or his
representatives shall have no authority to inquire into any process used in any
industrial operation beyond that point having a direct bearing on the kind and
source of discharge to the sewers or the on-site facilities for waste
treatment.
§ 162-30. Protection
from damage.
No
unauthorized person shall maliciously, willfully, or negligently break, damage,
destroy, uncover, deface, or tamper with any structure, appurtenance or
equipment which is part of the Village sewerage system.
§ 162-31. Annual rental
charges of properties outside the Village.
A. Annual
sewer rental charges for one-family homeowners shall be $150; each apartment of
any apartment house shall be $100, and sewer rental for commercial property
shall be $300, which charge shall constitute a lien upon the property of any
owner in the event of nonpayment to the Village.
B. Sewer
rental charges shall be levied, assessed and collected concurrently with the
Village Tax.
